The people at my company are amazing. It's clear that they care not just about hitting our work goals, but also about the people they work with. People are excited to get to know each other and hear about their coworker's lives and point of view.
The best part of my work day is chatting with my co-workers. Even with remote work, we've found ways to stay connected across teams and keep our culture alive. I am also grateful for the flexibility that Hollister allows- I can go to the gym during the day without worrying about missing something.
My team feels like family. When I had a family emergency, I was supported in having a flexible schedule and had a lot of emotional support. They genuinely care about me; they sent me cards and even dinner when I returned. In meetings we have fun and talk about or lives as much as we talk about work.
Although it is not exactly part of 'compensation', I would say the biggest perk of working at Hollister is the flexibility. I am not expected to be 'tied to my desk', and am encouraged to take a break to go for a walk, go to the gym, or join our CEO in meditation. I can take the time I need.
