Hoshizaki America Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The insurance is really amazing

The best part of my compensation package is my health insurance plan. I really appreciate what is offered!

It is a great benefit package.

The amount the company pays toward my insurance premiums.

The Child Care Reimbursement is one of the best parts about my compensation package.

Review from Sales Dept

My bi-weekly paychecks arrive in my bank account on time!

The healthcare options and now a new clinic onsite. Absolutely great!

Insurance (these are just extra words to meet the five-word minimum)

Review from Sales Dept

The benefits package is incredible

Review from Sales Dept

fair pay. . . .

Safe harbor funds and fairly priced medical benefits.

Review from HR Dept

My bonus is the best part

The life and health insurance coverage

Review from Sales Dept

Being able to earn a bonus every quarter.

Review from Sales Dept

Like anyone, Payday! Medical, 401 and bonus structures are all great programs

Review from Sales Dept

Our benefits are great. The cost for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance is very affordable, and the company contributes a great amount to offset the cost.

It helps with my medical bills

Insurance is the best; I like the 3 options we have.

Review from HR Dept

childcare incentive and medical insurance

Review from HR Dept

the choices we have to choose from are fantastic

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

COLA. 2.8% increase. WFH or hybrid

Review from Sales Dept

More money for the amount of work I actually do.

More money I have 20 plus year experience in my field.

Compensation is held to the lower end of the scale for my position, here and Industry wise. would like to see this reviewed. My Director is not taking full advantage of the Ice Breaker program for his direct managers.

more emphasis and concerns on how an hourly employee feels and the same it not shown to salary staff.

Salaries for similar positions/titles are higher in the market. Our annual review process does not provide for market adjustments, only inflation related changes. A periodic market study by position may provide more transparency.

Review from Marketing Dept

What would make compensation better is if I wasn't paid the 10th percentile of my job description. I think if the company valued reasonable compensation and brought salaries to average compensation they would retain employees better.

Because of points i had due to being out and my fmla was approved but had to go back and get them taking offf but in the meantime my evalution came and now i feel they didn't give me the correct evaluation die to those points

The influx of immigrants being hired to the facility is a clear indication of stagnant wages being paid to dependable, hard-working Americans who deserve fair pay and preference over those who cannot even speak the national language.

Low given my years of experience in operations and customer service. Looking forward to the development opportunity.

Review from Sales Dept

I do feel I am unvalued

If I were paid more.

Review from Sales Dept

I, do not feel undervalued. I feel very thankful for my positon and enjoy my work. I feel that better communication would enhance the facility.

After 8 years at SEDC, I feel undervalued as a manager. Our Orlando DC is struggling and needs more staff, yet requests keep getting denied. It’s frustrating to see stakeholders prioritized ov

A million dollars, just kidding. As you know and I am sure you are in the same boat. Getting tougher to keep up with inflation. I would love to advance in this company, not sure how to show my value other than always showing up, treating our customers as I would be treated

There is a lot of waste in the company and the president doesnt like conflict

My position is grossly underpaid for the amount of work we do and the cost of living where we are. The pay is a joke and when talked about it falls on deaf ears or is ignored entirely.

Geographic variance in cost of living is not mirrored by locality-based salaries. Compensation zoning would alleviate that with simple calculations.

Don't feel I get paid for all the work I do

Pay raise and better pto
