They are open to listen and they are personable, they know a lot of people by name.
Promoting David Sellers to VP of Engineering was a great decision. He is extremely bright and level-headed and, hopefully in his new position as VP he will be able contribute some much needed structure and guidance.
Don't have to deal with them on a regular basis so not fair for me to judge

Communication is horrible. Things happen and employees are never given reasons so they're left to the rumor mill. We are told they read these comments but I don't believe it because people are still unhappy about not being able to work hybrid and nothing has changed, and it's not been addressed.

Directly communicating to the DC's. There has never been an opportunity to discuss what we need to do to improve customer service or other issues pertaining to the DC's.
Provide HR to the DC's at least twice a year. Quality assurance needs to be retained. We don't need a machine for every purpose on the planet. The DC's need to pay more!
Investing in their employees and giving them clear assurance that there is a stable position for them with the company. When we hear of production being sent over the border to take advantage of cheaper labor costs and we're left wondering if we'll even have a forty-hour work week doesn't bode well.
Allow people who actually care about their job to be in higher positions. Not just give them a title because of their employment length with the company. We need managers & coordinators who care about their team instead of causing corruption
