Better more reliable communication among all employees, including management needs to happen before anything can change toward the positive side.
I already knew I had the job, because I was referred as a temporary employee, and when I was hired on, I only had to complete an application. No interview was needed at that time.
Employee attitudes are terrible, all around. Harder working production employees only get more workload dumped onto them while the lazier employees receive no consequences nor do they receive the same difficult tasks that we motivated workers receive.
I make the same as other employees in the same positions, yet many of them do not perform as much or as quality work as I do. Compensation for working harder and going above basic expectations would make me feel more valued, appreciated, and happy.
Most of them seem to need much better communication and people skills. They need to be more professional when speaking with subordinates, especially. They also seem to need to better organized before delivering incomplete ideas and strategies to hourly employees. They should be better role models.
All of them need the work ethic that the harder working group of us have. Everyone there on the production floor needs to understand what it means to respect coworkers and stay out of each other's personal lives, especially when the prying for information on topics unrelated to work is unwanted.
