Executive Bio

Mr. Robert H. Walls, Jr. also known as Rob, has been an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at iHeartMedia Capital I, LLC since April 26, 2013. He has been an Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel at iHeartCommunications, Inc. (formerly Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings Inc.) since January 1, 2010. Mr. Walls has been an Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel at iHeartMedia, Inc. since April 26, 2013. He served as an Advisor at Post Oak Energy Capital, LP and was also its Managing Director until 2010 and Founding Partner. Mr. Walls served as a Managing Director previously till 2010. He has extensive experience in Europe, Asia, Africa, India, South America and Central America. After Enron Corp. filed for bankruptcy in 2001, he became a Member of its Chief Executive Officer and was elected as an Executive Vice President and General Counsel, where he was involved in one of the most complex and largest bankruptcies in United States history. He served as an Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, Acting General Counsel and General Counsel of Enron Creditors Recovery Corp. (formerly Enron Corp.), since March 2002. Mr. Walls also served as a Deputy General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Enron from October 1999 to March 2002. He served as General Counsel of Enron International Inc. from December 1993 to October 1999. Mr. Walls began his career at Enron in November 1992 as Vice President and General Counsel of Enron Power Corp. He served multiple Enron companies in various senior legal roles since 1992. From 1999 until Enron's bankruptcy, Mr. Walls served as the Managing Director and the General Counsel of Enron Global Assets and Services and Deputy General Counsel of Enron, where he was responsible for the legal affairs of all of Enron's domestic and international energy infrastructure assets. From 1992 to 1999, Mr. Walls served as the Senior Vice President and the General Counsel for Enron's domestic independent power business and later its international energy business. He was employed at Enron till 2005. Mr. Walls joined Enron from Vinson & Elkins LLP, where he was a Lawyer and practiced energy, finance and international law. He serves as a Director of Young Life West Houston. Mr. Walls serves on the Board of National Specialty Alloys, LLC and has been a Director of Enron Renewable Energy Corp. since November 17, 2004. He also serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of the Texas Children's Cancer Center and West Houston Young Life and serves on the Board of Trustees at The Chinquapin School. Mr. Walls was a Member of the Board of Directors at PGE. He served as a Director of Portland General Electric Co. from July 2, 2002 to August 31, 2005. He received both his BBA and his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas.
