What do you like best about the leadership team?
The openness to feedback and how easy they are to approach.
The leadership team are very transparent in communication, they know they aren't perfect and are working towards building an amazing company. There have been a few bumps along the way like any company.
They are very present and accessible. Regarding any serious workplace issue their doors are always open.
They're very approachable and there's very little ego.
Our leadership team is best because they lead by example, they always say and do the right things and encourage every person at Immersive to do that, and to be innovative and creative.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Everything is provided up front. No waiting period. I was able to get on benefits my first day on the job.
The benefits show that the company that cares about you as a whole person - allowances and support for mental and physical health, budgets for learning, support for big moments in your life (like the enhanced parental leave), opportunities to take time off for birthdays and volunteering...

Whoever thought of it and approved it, has thought of the employees very carefully. This is reflected on how great the package is.
The benefits, and culture, to support people's wellbeing are some of the best I've ever seen in my career.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better engagement with the management
Health insurance policy is rubbish
As a start up, we know there are some areas of improvement for shares and benefits and it has been acknowledged that this is an area for improvement - knowing IL as I do, I have no doubt changes are imminent, we're always adapting for the benefit of staff and customers.
Sadly, due to remote working in a different country, stock options are not available and most of the benefits and perks cannot/do not apply which is a little disappointing but understandable to a degree.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We can laugh together, share our struggles and come together as one team.
Our team is one of the most diverse I have ever worked on. This shows through in the quality of work. Everyone has different work related strengths which really fosters a collaborative environment.
They're collaborative, knowledgeable, and fun. People are respectful and listen to one another, no matter how busy they are.
My team is competitive, which all sales teams are , but in a supportive and fun way. We are always trying to help each other as we know 1 persons success leads to the rest of us being successful.
While I'm a manager my views are often challenged and I believe we find the best solutions as a team
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Total lack of team work
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The inclusivity and the constant education to be more inclusive.
The people here are incredible.

People treat each other with respect and there's always time for human interaction and conversation not just work.

The people I met and the honesty about where we were in our journey.
I got to meet the wider team I would be joining and see the office
They were very clear about what they were looking for, what material I would need to present and what questions I would need to answer. There weren't really any surprises and I felt happy and relaxed whilst talking to my interviewers each time and not intimidated

Before Covid there were lots of in-person social activities that took place, this has been hard to replicate post-Covid but I think it's some key so we don't dilute the great culture previously developed at Immersive Labs.
