How common are layoffs at Infusionsoft?
Annually
This Comment is TRUE You can’t get ahead in this company because layoffs are so frequent. Before you get a chance to promote you are laid off. If you do manage to promote, a year later you are laid off. I got a new position in 2010 and then they layoff and kept others that did nothing

How long to ppl at your company typically stick around before they quit?
Top Employee Response
Turnover is very high. 1-2 years at most, on average.
Obviously it depends. Somewhere between 12-36 months
In the product org, I did the math once and it averaged to a few months over a year. However there is an "in crowd" that has lasted much longer. It seems to be, the better the talent, the quicker they leave.
What's the company culture like at Infusionsoft?
There are a few cultures at Infusionsoft. The one that attracts talent and is preached at the company meeting is beautiful and focuses on people and small businesses. Sadly the real culture is about blaming the employees, witch hunts, and trying to purge dessenters. The company is a culture cargo cult that thinks it knows how to create a culture but it's just yet another startup following prescriptions from self help books.
Used to be more "fun" but still a great culture of trust and autonomy and people working together to solve problems for small business.
What are company outings like at Infusionsoft?
Company outings rarely happen
What is the daily attire at Infusionsoft?
Casual
What is Infusionsoft's policy towards pets in the workplace?
Pets at the office are not allowed.
What's the work from home policy like at Infusionsoft?
Depends on the department and manager. In engineering, one of the departments this should be most available, it is actually the most limited policy. Especially if you happen to fall under a certain director, who is anti work from home.
How's the leadership on the Engineering team at Infusionsoft?
Nice people with the best intentions. They haven't launched a meaningful change for years though. There's a lack of understanding of how to build a functioning software department with clear ownership, resulting in thrashing on insignificant or already failed projects.
How's the morale at Infusionsoft?
Depends on the department. There have been a couple of rounds of layoffs every year for the past 4 years. They hit product the least, so it has the best morale. But each time they hit we loose some our best people in every department. The good people who don't need this job and can easily find another.
What's the pay like for Marketing roles at Infusionsoft?
Mid tier at best with an expected 120% given 120% of the time.
What's the vibe like in the Marketing dept at Infusionsoft? How many hours are you working?
Depends on the role, but most 70-80hrs a week and expected to be accessible at any time.
How's the leadership on the Marketing team at Infusionsoft?
Unfair to assess as the talented leaders I worked with all left infusionsoft on their own.
What's the Marketing team like at Infusionsoft?
Hard to say. Each person I worked with in my two years plate gone, from CMO down to individual contributors. There's so much change for change sake made at leadership levels, but not based on what the data is saying. The only constant is change.
How do you feel about going to work at Infusionsoft everyday?
The culture has dramatically changed. Be ready to play politics. Upper management lacks integrity.
How's the vacation policy at Infusionsoft?
Win-4-time is "unlimited" vacation. But you have to be very active in your personal tracking. Most people forget and just take off a couple weeks a year. (And nothing is paid out when you leave)
What would cause you to leave your job at Infusionsoft?
A cool group to work with. Job stability. And a similarly meaningful mission.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Infusionsoft?
The work life balance can be very good! If you keep track, you can make sure to use win-4-time effectively. Also, don't get caught up in this week's hype, just work your shift and go because there will always be a fire, all year long.
How rewarding is your job at Infusionsoft?
The value added to our customers is undeniable, and that's what keeps me focused and coming back every day.
What kind of people succeed at Infusionsoft?
Try to just go with the flow and agree a lot. (Even if you really have genuine concerns) Also, don't question C-level execs, they are sensitive and will blacklist you.
How can I improve my chances of being hired at Infusionsoft?
It seems that most people who get hired already know someone who works here. Usually they go to the same temple or are extended family members.
How secure do you feel at your job at Infusionsoft?
In my time, I've never seen a software leader last more than two years, and most are fired. I don't see that trend stopping, since the root problem hasn't been solved. For me personally, the knowlege of our organizational issues has enabled me to position myself such that I've been able to last.
What's the best part of your job at Infusionsoft?
Below the management, there are some really kind and genuine people to work with.
How do you feel about Infusionsoft's future?
Infusionsoft won't last until the end of the decade without needing to sell. However it has a pretty solid market share so we should be able to be steadily profitable for a long time. Just probably not growing.
How's the work pace at Infusionsoft?
It's a pretty cool scene. Open office. Snacks and drinks provided. Fun colors.
How challenged are you at Infusionsoft?
Software is a challenging industry in general and Infusionsoft is no exception. However, I used to be very bad at office politics, and managing up but here you can't avoid learning that skill, or you'd just fail to get any meaningful work done.
