Samuel C. Cowley — Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Insight

Mr. Samuel C. Cowley has been General Counsel and Secretary at Insight Enterprises Inc. since June 07, 2016 and has been its Senior Vice President since July 29, 2016. Mr. Cowley has over 25 years of legal experience representing commercial businesses in roles as both outside and in-house counsel. Mr. Cowley has an extensive track record in all aspects of corporate legal work, SEC regulations as well as deep experience working as the legal advisor to the Board of Directors. He served as Vice President of Business Development, General Counsel and Secretary at Prestige Brands Holdings, Inc. since March 2012. Mr. Cowley served as the Executive Vice President of Business Development, General Counsel and Secretary of Matrixx Initiatives, Inc. since May 2008. He served as an Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Swift Transportation Company since April 2005 and served as its Secretary. Prior to joining Swift in March 2005, he was a Practicing Attorney in the law firm of Snell & Wilmer, L.L.P., Phoenix, Arizona since March 1990. He was a partner with the law firm of Snell & Wilmer, L.L.P. Mr. Cowley's practice was concentrated in mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation including Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance and corporate finance. His background also includes over sixteen years with Snell & Wilmer, L.L.P., also of Phoenix, where he worked on dozens of financings and acquisitions for both public and private businesses. Previously, he was associated with Reid & Priest, New York, New York. He served as an Independent Director for Education Management Corporation since October 2009 until April 14, 2015. He served as a Director of Swift Transportation Company from May 26, 2005 to May 2007. He served as an Independent Director of Matrixx Initiatives, Inc. from July 18, 2005 to February 18, 2011. He is admitted to practice Law in the States of Arizona and New York. Mr. Cowley is a graduate of Cornell Law School, Ithaca, New York and Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah with a B.A. in Economics.
