It's very fast paced and challenging which is great sometimes, but it also can feel like a giant mess when things aren't working right or our processes aren't clear.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My team is the most positive part about our culture, they are supportive and understanding when other teams aren't.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are super supportive and a great resource. I always look forward to working with them and chatting on our team meetings.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
My work load is a lot right now so it stresses me out. I don't look forward to going into work because I'm overwhelmed. I wish I could do more for my clients but there is too much on my plate to be able to do everything I'd like for them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was extremely underpaid until recently for the work I was doing (a Senior level), and still feel slightly underpaid. It took me so long to get my promotion that it was like pulling teeth. Manager was supportive but the company didn't seem to value me and it felt like they wouldn't care if I left.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Clearer roadmaps of what we are focused on as a company. It feels like we are all over the place and we can't put enough resources behind what we are currently doing, but they keep adding more to our plates. We never seem to have a solid plan in place before we rush into new products or services.
