Robert L. Katz — Executive VP & General Counsel at Jabil

Mr. Robert L. Katz, also known as Bobby, has been an Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Jabil Inc. since September 01, 2016 and served as its Corporate Secretary since September 01, 2016 until August 04, 2017. Mr. Katz served as a Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Ingersoll-Rand Plc since November 1, 2010. He served as Senior Vice President of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation from May 2007 to 2010. He served as Secretary of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation since December 2007. Mr. Katz joined Federal-Mogul as Vice President on January 8, 2007 and served as its Chief Compliance Officer. He served as a General Counsel of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation from January 08, 2007 to November 1, 2010. He served as General Counsel and Regional Compliance Officer of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) of Delphi Corporation from January 1999 to 2006. In his seven-year tenure with Delphi, he established and led the EMEA legal department, following Delphi's spin-off from GM in 1999. Mr. Katz served as an Assistant General Counsel of General Motors (Europe) AG, at its European headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland from 1996 to 1998. As a member of the General Motors legal staff serving all European operations, he focused on transactions and investments in Eastern Europe. He began his career as an associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy from 1986 to 1995 where he worked in the M&A and General Corporate Group, both in New York and London and advised public and private companies on a variety of corporate transactions, including cross-border acquisitions and divestitures, corporate restructurings and international securities offerings. Mr. Katz earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and his Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1986, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also attended New York University School of Law, New York.
