Executive Bio
Mr. Phillip H. Rudolph, also known as Phil, has been an Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary and at Jack in the Box Inc. since February 2010 and November 1, 2007 respectively and has been its Chief Legal & Risk Officer since October 2014. Mr. Rudolph served as General Counsel Jack in the Box Inc. from November 1, 2007 to October 2014. Mr. Rudolph served as Senior Vice President of Jack in the Box Inc. from November 1, 2007 to February 2010. He served as Vice President and General Counsel of Ethical Leadership Group, Inc., an ethics and corporate responsibility consulting firm based in Wilmette, Ill. There, Mr. Rudolph provided strategic consulting in ethics, compliance and corporate responsibility for a wide variety of multinational, national and local companies, in addition to handling Ethical's legal responsibilities. He served as the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Jack in the Box Inc. Prior to joining Ethical Leadership Group in 2006, he was a partner in the Washington, DC, office of Foley Hoag, LLP, where he worked in the law firm's international practice group. Mr. Rudolph served as vice president of McDonald's Corporation from 1998 to 2003, where he served in several capacities, including those of U.S. and international general counsel. While at McDonald's, he also oversaw it's global vendor compliance program. From 1983 to 1998, he was with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLC, including the last seven years as a litigation partner in the law firm's Washington, DC, office. Mr. Rudolph has a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in political science from the University of California at Irvine.
