Kirkland's Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Benefits, Vacation time, Holidays off.

Review from Sales Dept

Nothing really better than any other company

Only part time but love the discount

i'm part time so dose not pertain to me.

It's competitive compared to surrounding employers

It fosters independence and provides incentives for further income opportunities.

Review from Sales Dept

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I'm underpaid, even though I do just as much work as the majority of the employees and there's no room for advancement unless you're Caucasian or willing to take anything without rebuttal.

Only allow keyholders part time. For minimum wage. Unlivable

Review from Sales Dept

No appreciation or direction given from managers or leadership. It’s all very clique oriented and ultimately that is hurting culture as well as the company as a whole. You should be recognized based on talent and not because you are buddies. Too many people doing high positions that should not b

Expected to work more than the required 45 hours. Work 6 days a week because of lack of hours. They need to really pay cost of living.

Better pay! District manager need to take action with poor managers

Hourly wage & hours are far beneath market. Salary expectations maintain 45 or more weekly, never less than without scrutiny. Employee expectations are excessive. Staffing is often one person in a dangerous retail environment. I do not believe it is a safe place to work and no one cares.

Review from Sales Dept

The money doesn't make up for the fact that ALL the managers including store, district and regional dont care to properly train the employees and than turn in around to make it seem like it was the employees fault so they terminate the employee.

Have worked for 6 years for Kirkland's and am making $2 more than I started. $1 raise just came because Kirkland's had to raise the rate in order to get new hires .

Pay is way below average for same position at other retailers

Review from Sales Dept

To learn more about them

Realistic bonus structure component based on personal performance goals.

Better pay for the hours I put in.
