Landon Edmond is General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at Klaviyo, a unified customer platform that gives online brands direct ownership of their consumer data and interactions, empowering them to turn transactions with customers into long-term relationships—at scale. Previously, he was SVP and General Counsel at SAP Cloud with a global team of 300+ legal professionals in over 40 countries and General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer at Ariba before it was acquired by SAP. Landon has nearly 25 years of experience as a business oriented general counsel working in the cloud and computer software industry. He specializes in global licensing, privacy law, legal compliance, and competition law.
Landon began his career as an attorney for the law firm Morrison & Foerster LLP. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. In 2020, he joined the distinguished group of jurists and legal industry leaders on Santa Clara University School of Law’s Advisory Board.
