PRofessional accountability doesn't exist... people are motivated to earn bonuses... work doesn't matter!

So far so good pay is great

LA Care is a toxic work environment full of incredibly large egos all trying to demonstrate that they are better than everyone else. We spin in circles and accomplish nothing... Simply take a look at the results of our past audits and you will see the gaping holes in our operations.

Overall my experience has been good minus some issues in the beginning once those things were corrected it has been pretty smooth

Latest episode is open to asking questions and usually knows the answer

Caring about the business rather than bonuses

Leading and setting clear attainable goals. We have enterprise goals but they don't strike at the heart of what is really going on. No one is ever held accountable at a leadership level for performance.

Pushing the director level to be better at engaging their staff to ensure staff are clear about what they do everyday, how it fits into corp strategic vision. Understanding the value of what they do.

Best part of compensation is making a good amount of money per hour plus overtime being available not to mention incentives as well as bonuses and raises

The benefits and the WFH ability.

The benefits are great and salary

Retirement and PTO are strong.

There are definitely exclusionary policies that discriminate against groups.

I feel that my hard work goes unnoticed and numbers are more important than what you actually offer to the company I have not received a raise in 2 years this is based on management failing to listen to complaints that were valid before being put in a position that would keep me stagnated

The camaraderie with LA Care is very good I do enjoy talking and meeting with my peers

We work together to make sure we're helping the members

Our new team is driven to provide results.

Better understanding how ALL the moving pieces of operations fit and work together. Where the dependencies are and appreciate how what your department does fits into other departments needs.

There are few coworkers who want to make a difference for vulnerable populations

The positive thing about LA Care is definitely the activities that have during work and after work and available for volunteer work as well as well as reimbursement for education what's the biggest thing

There are some good people working here. But need to remember this is a government agency so the professional accountability doesn't exist.

Everyone speaks to each other and you have your own space which allows you to work freely

The company is highly diverse and mission driven to provide the best care possible for our members.

People need to be held accountable to perform. They're also needs to be clear delineation of duty.

Performance management or hiring better line managers.

They portrayed an honest overview of what a work day would look like.

Helping others makes me really happy and definitely fulfills me in a way that I've never been fulfilled with another job and makes me feel like there's no reason for me being hired at this company

Solving problems provides me with the most satisfaction.

The management hierarchy needs improvement. Their processes and procedures could be streamlined if they hired more people that have administrative management and organizational management skills

I don't deal with clients so have no opinion

need better performance out of manager level. Need to ensure they have a vision or 'point of view' and how to align staff and performance manage to execute on that vision. Without that vision things just mosey along without real change.
