many order-taking staff are paid @ 13./hour, full-time work is not available, few benefits, random scheduling. As call center work goes, it's much better than most, but that's faint praise.

good exchanges with customers, variety (uncommon but welcome)

Hiring process was impersonal, clearly, hiring is not individual, just "hire lots of of adequate workers"
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Call center staff have more discretion than at most companies, most customers are polite, most staff are helpful.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
compensating low-wage workers, like call center and warehouse staff. Seasonal often really means year-round but with few benefits and low pay.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Call center workers fully participate in making profits for the company, but low pay, crappy hours and schedules, few benefits. Workers are expected to be super rah-rah about the company.
