It depends entirely on the department you're in. rodent tox in my facility it can get hectic at times but we work together and get it done. Where as other departments such as large animal have a large turn over rate due to how disorganized it is and how stressed everyone is.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It comes down to the people. In my facility I tend to get along with everyone.
What makes you most happy at work?
The animals I work with. They all have their own personalities and I tend to have a favorite in each room.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was quick and to the point. I didn't have to jump through hoops or play mind games to figure out what they wanted
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work together. If a task is a bit dull. I can count on my team to talk and help time go by faster. Tjat aside I know they have my back.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like my leadership fine. There's some messups now and then but they treat us like adults and explain what went wrong. Then will either help you fix it or explain how to prevent it in the future.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The industry standard for thw amount of work I do is about $20 an hour. I'm making 18. Its expensive to live where I do and while I pay the bills fine that's all I'm really able to do
