Improvement starts with the senior team's commitment to change and growth. Rather than operating in isolation, they should prioritize fostering open dialogue across departments. My experience at Lear revealed a major disconnect in plant leadership. They seemed unaware of my core responsibilities.

Managing people and ensuring their needs are met.
Everything, quality, safety, end the bullying, end favouritism, training
Need to follow proper direction. Need to learn their jobs as well as the jobs of the people who work for them. Need upper management to take their jobs seriously and respect those who are doing the work. Hire people without past indiscretions that will cause future problems.
Helping and not just standing back watching
Hi, a whole new management team
Compensation needs to be increased. Not keeping up with cost of living
If they really pay us more
Review from Operations Dept
As a maintenance technician we kept that place running. It's a machine broke down production wasn't making seats until we fixed it up and got production going again.
More per hour based on what our plant brings into the company. Plants that bring in more money and have more complicated work should not be tied and compared to plants with small volume of work or ones that bring in smaller contracts
There's no hope in that area
Only a few co-workers cause problems. It is their known character, and I believe if it wasn't tolerated, it would not be a problem.
My coworkers are uneducated ignorant people
Review from Operations Dept
Even though the upper management is great, there still needs to be some improvement at the lower levels. There is a lot of narcissistic, selfish, and "cliquey" behavior among my peers and my direct management. People don't get promoted based on ability.
Review from IT Dept
It is not the hourly team that needs improvement, it is the salary team that needs culled and overhauled.
More flexibility and encouragement of work-life balance. Encourage employees to attend HR and ERG events meant to improve the culture but people are currently scared to.
More equity and reconsider the quality of ressources
revamp management and do a better job of vetting employees for hiring
The best thing that can be done is for a company survey where managers can be anonymously reviewed. It might make some of them shape up.
Review from IT Dept
I think the issue if giving people less than their band salary is resolved for new people starts from 2017-2018. People who starts before still notice the negatif impact on their low wages comparing to others
Panel interview not by department management to give the job to whobthey like instead of who can do the Job
Review from Operations Dept
ask more questions about work history and pose questions about how the employee will handle situations. make sure more than one person interviews so that there is more than one perspective on the employee
Quality is really bad , Improve to work the process and strictly in accordance plant closing due to Management Coordinators which know nothing about being successful in the industry they a disgrace
Review from Operations Dept
bad moral so quality isnt as good. also management forcing numbers so that quality is not a priority, until something gets out the building
My health benefits are HORRIBLE
Review from Operations Dept
More pay rate and better shift allowance would make it better and for the quality of the work would be better people not making the effort for £
Review from Operations Dept
better ways are better money and more benefits for the workers
