Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?I am not being paid a competitive, industry average wage for my position. Being paid at least the industry average should be a start.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Our audit quality has drastically declined with the increase in contractors, and it's only a matter of time before it starts losing us business. Our training needs to be accurate to our current processes, updated frequently, and understanding that this is a high-skill job that takes time to learn.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?Executives must know what employees in their department do everyday. They must listen to us and architect the organization in response. They must also accept that it is their role to accept and organize feedback even if it isn't precisely quantitative or rigorously presented.
