Executive Bio

Mr. Alan Ridgeway has been President of International and Emerging Markets Division at Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. since November 2011. Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Ridgeway has responsibility for developing all of Live Nation's businesses outside of North America and Europe. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of International Music Division of Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. from September 2007 to October 2011. He served as the President of European Music of Clear Channel Music Group, Inc. and was responsible for overseeing its music division in 12 European markets including, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom. He also oversaw all aspects of Live Nation's international business, which operates in sixteen countries outside of the United States and Canada. He served as President-International and Emerging Markets at Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. from October 2010 to December 31, 2011. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. from September 2005 to August 2007. Mr. Ridgeway served as the Chief Operating Officer of European Music Division at Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. from October 2003 to 2004 and also served as its President of European Music Division and oversaw all of the day-to-day operations in the European markets and lead expansion into new markets. He served as the Chief Financial Officer for European Music Division at Clear Channel Entertainment from joining in January 2002 to October 2003. Prior to Clear Channel, he spent 5 years with Hertz Corporation's Rent-A-Car Division, including 3 years as a Finance Director of French operations and worked for 8 years with KPMG in London. Mr. Ridgeway holds a Degree in Economics from Cambridge University in England and is a UK Qualified Chartered Accountant.
