Open, forthcoming, friendly, competent, driven, honest.
LT is accessible, transparent, hard-working, kind, and compassionate. They are here to get a job done, but their humanity is also constantly on full display. Our COO in particular is very present and highly transparent in our regular all-hands and town hall meetings. The team overall is A+.
We have a unique business and it requires a wide range of expertise and knowledge. The Leadership Team has a range of experiences, both from within and outside of "tech," and I'm glad to see a diversity of background that will lead us forward.
The transparency of the team
I find the leadership team cares about making the product as good as it can be; while maintaining a great work culture and team.
They need a leadership overhaul, especislly the CEO. He's gone an started an entitely new company anyway. They just need leadership who knows what to do and wants to do it.
Leadership has no experience and no direction.
RSUs instead of options. Feels very different, more ownership.
I do not believe I could find a similar position for more money with the skills and experience I bring with me.
Regular reviews and opportunities to advance and grow, with a clear path forward for promotion.
PTO, Vision, Compassionate Leave, and full disability leave
The equity shares allow me to be invested in the company as it grows
Sales OTEs are so unattainable that you end up making so far below market rate, it should be illegal.
OTE for employees in Sales is unattainable.
Hiring good, competent, driven folks across the board in all teams.
We hire such phenomenal, bright, caring, compassionate people.
My work is not necessarily collaborative, but each member of my team has gone out of their way to help get me up to speed as well as checking in regularly to ensure I feel supported and challenged.
The team is always willing to make mistakes (run experiments, take risks) and learn from them. Failure isn't punished as long as the bets that were made were the right ones (mitigate risk, accept outcomes, hope to reap rewards).
Very smart + Very kind!
Direction would help improve meetings
Lob has a great deal of hiring issues so they'll hire anyone now. Those who are left, are unhappy. Turn over rate is over 50%
The collaboration and openness across all teams is great to work with.
I feel supported by my team, coworkers, and management.
As a company, we are authentic in our actions, and that authenticity is encouraged and cultivated throughout the org. We are consistently reminded to be true to ourselves and our values.
It seems like everyone shows up to work on good projects. People are engaged in their projects and no one is trying to go it alone at the expense of others.
Positive: Very friendly and focused on DEI
New leadership, new policies, and inclusion not just diversity for vanity metrics
They need to value opinions and make real changes based on employee feedback. If internal engagement surveys in certain departments suggest below 20% satisfaction rating, then make a change.
The interviews were great, open conversations with really competent people
I loved that everyone who interviewed me was open and honest about the things they loved about Lob as well as the areas they felt could be improved.
I think we have a high bar, but we want to make sure that people are going to be successful in their roles here. It's fair and tries to mitigate a lot of unconscious bias around [lack of] diversity.
I had 8 interviews. I really got to know the people in the company! No other company I interviewed with invested this kind of time. It made all the difference in meeting the team and having so many parts of the company revealed to me.
I loved the opportunity to speak with cross-funtional teams and a variety of people on my own team during the interview process. It gave me a great understanding of how well the teams collaborate, which is very important to me.

Working with a great team and good people.
Interacting with my coworkers, being fulfilled in my role, and seeing the impact of the work I do.
I absolutely love that Lob took a chance on me as an intern and that I have been able to grow and learn in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Getting to work with pleasant and very talented people. Spending 8 hours a day away from my family would be difficult if not for the fact that I get to interact with a fantastic group of people.
Given the freedom to explore, make a difference and lead.
Again, the company needs direction in order for there to be a positive outlook.
Print and Mail is uninspiring
