Leadership Reviews

Listen to the people you are trying to lead.

Review from Sales Dept

Do something to improve morale. Not a one time event. Like better hours, pay, or more people hired.

Review from Sales Dept

Hiring qualified African American Men in roles of leadership at the executive level.

Review from Sales Dept

The Manager over me directly had next to no expirence at my job, where as I have 10 plus years expirence including at Wal-Mart during 3 Christmas seasons. It's safe to say I might know ways to streamline the unloading process. Manager would not even concider my ideas.

Review from Operations Dept

Collaboration and Hiring/Promoting more women.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

WATCHED AS UNEXPERIENCED PERSONS WERE HIRED FOR SPECIALIST POSITIONS THAT I APPLIED FOR BEING A 25+ YR CONTRACTOR I HAVE EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF PRODUCTS LOWES DOES NOT CARE

Review from Sales Dept

Better pay, hours, more coworkers to share the crazy workload.

Review from Sales Dept

The in store associates position is highly physical and sales focused. Therefore pay should reflect the effort and hardwork to service customers and selling product. 13 dollars per hour is not nearly enough.

Review from Sales Dept

I don't like that my insurance has a high deductible.

The hard back breaking work that I do at a fast pace is a job that should be a higher wage.

Review from Operations Dept

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

Quality varies store to store.

Review from Sales Dept

They need to be held accountable

Review from Sales Dept

The meetings are pointless. They tell you one thing to make them look good, but then they never follow through. There are nice people there, but you can’t be in

Review from Sales Dept

There is no communication from management

Review from Sales Dept

Better work/life Balance, set shifts and no bouncing around shifts that create poor attitudes with different time of day working hours.

The management needs to be respectful of the employees and treat them like human beings not cattle.

Review from Sales Dept

every single little thing from the ground up

Review from Customer Support Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Lots of things to improve.

Review from Sales Dept

Train manager how to interview

Review from Sales Dept

They basically lie to you. Telling you how amazing it is... when it isn't.

Review from Sales Dept

The first interviewer was stressed and clueless. No idea of geography of the area he was recruiting in. Seemed more like a telemarketer than HR. Once I got past the gate keeper - much more professional/positive experience.

Review from HR Dept

Make it legitimate. In many cases, the preferred candidate has already been identified, rendering the interview process pretty much a pro-forma foregone conclusion.

Review from Sales Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

The store was always understaffed, there was no pay raises, if you needed time off they expected you to know a month or more ahead of time, better management and better store manager

New store manager and probably new ceo

Review from Sales Dept

No communication. No accountability, no rewards for hard work

Review from Sales Dept

So much to do so little time. No one knows anything in depth, and we are making customers mad left and right. We don't have time to help them. We are like a giant convenience store. If you don't know what you want or see it on shelf it isn't happening.

Review from Sales Dept

Pay and work schedules are horrible

Review from Sales Dept

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

Outlook Reviews

The benefit package could be better

Reorganize the entire marketing department and get rid of toxic employees, including VP.

The wages and benefit packages.

Review from Operations Dept

Chain of command definition and clearly defined roles

Review from Sales Dept

Decisions that demonstrate the company cares about its store associates. The majority of recent moves have ranged from ambivalent to hostile toward associates below the level of store manager.
