Duane Ring — Senior Vice President of Global Field Operations at Lumen (formerly CenturyLink)

Mr. Duane Ring has been the Senior Vice President of Global Field Operations at CenturyLink, Inc. since September, 2015. Mr. Ring served as the President of Midwest region at CenturyLink, Inc. until September, 2015. Mr. Ring served as the President of CenturyLink's Northeast Region. He served as the Region Vice President of North-East Region of Centurytel, Inc. since 1999. Mr. Ring was responsible for the overall management of the newly formed North-East Region of the combined companies of CenturyTel and EMBARQ and also responsibilities include Region Operations, Network Performance, Project Management, Video and CATV Services, New Product Deployment, Revenue and Expense Budgets and Sales. Mr. Ring served as the Systems Development Manager of Centurytel, Inc. since 1984. He served as the Division Manager of Centurytel, Inc. since 1992. He served as the Division Vice President of Centurytel, Inc. since 1997. During his tenure with CenturyTel, he has led many projects and teams including successful product trials and the rollouts of IPTV, the Vail WiFi Network and the first commercially available Internet access product for CenturyTel. He also served as Centurytel,'s Field Lead for the acquisitions of Verizon Wisconsin/GTE, Ameritech and PTI - Midwest. He holds Bachelor Degree/Management Information Systems from University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire in 1981. He holds Master's Degree/Business Administration from University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, Wisconsin in 1989.
