Richard S. Warley — Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa Operations at Lumen (formerly CenturyLink)

Mr. Richard S. Warley has been the Managing Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa Operations at CenturyLink, Inc. since June 9, 2015. Mr. Warley joined CenturyLink from IPsoft, a provider of autonomic and cognitive solutions, where he held the position of Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Warley served as the Chief Executive Officer of KVH Co., Ltd. since his joining in September 1, 2010. Prior to joining KVH, Mr. Warley served as the Managing Director and Global Chief Financial Officer for the Information, Communications and Technology Group of Devonshire Investors. He served as Managing Director International of CenturyLink Technology Solutions (formerly, SAVVIS Inc.) from December 2006 to September 30, 2008, and its Senior Vice President from July 2006 to September 30, 2008. Mr. Warley served as a Managing Director of SAVVIS' international business since 2000. He served as Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) of SAVVIS Communications Corp. since September 2003. Previously, he served various positions at SAVVIS, including Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Managing Director of Asia since joining SAVVIS in 2000. Prior to SAVVIS, he served as Director of Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch & Co. and formerly worked in the equity research department of Cazenove & Co. He served as a Corporate Finance Attorney at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He started his career as a lawyer and has worked in the investment banking divisions of DLJ. Mr. Warley has extensive leadership experience in the global managed services and data center industries. He has over 20 years experience in financing and operating technology companies in Europe, the US and Asia. Mr. Warley earned a B.A. and M.Sc. in Economics with Distinction from the London School of Economics and a Law degree from the College of Law, London.
