What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

3% of total compensation contributed to my 401K plan from Lurn.

Benefits are super and paid mostly by the company including non discretionary 401k company contribution

They do a good job making sure you are in the pay range for your position

Above-average pay and crediting are always on time.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I thought by now I would be promoted or making a lot more money. This is often promised but never delivered. The position doesn't pay enough to live off of.

Is not that I feel undervalued, I believe that we're working harder, either taking multiple task while maintaining the best customer satisfaction rate. Compensation should be reconsider If employees are working hard.

I started as one role and quickly moved into another role with additional responsibilities, but no increase in compensation.

Based on all the responsibilities I have, I would like to be compensated for that.

What are some of the best things about your team?

kind and attentive, patient with teaching co-workers

Teammates are fun to work with and very flexible. I enjoy spending time with them outside of the office.

Most of the team are hard working individuals. Most will answer questions when you get stumped.

Everyone is super nice and helpful -- I truly felt welcomed from the first day I started working at Lurn and I enjoy working with every single person on my team.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Both are excellent and we have done a lot of screening to get there

Everyone is super helpful and you can expect help and guidence from you managers and management.

For the most part, it feels like family.

They appreciate when you go above and beyond.

I believe it's the fact our CEO is always positive about the company, and the direction he sees us going in. You can't help but feel the same energy as him, and believe that we can do it and get it done!

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Most of the people in my group are truly remarkable, but there is always one or two that can make things difficult, however, I consider this a growing experience for me, I need to learn how to deal with all personality types.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Meeting with the different departments and team members. I also enjoyed the group style interviews.

The number of people that I was able to interview with. Learning about the company, and what my roles and responsibilities would be, from various people was a wonderful experience.

I am not sure if it has changed now that they have hired recruiters but when I interviewed it was more of a conversation with the COO and my current manager, no touch questions or anything intimidating.

The overall process was smooth and enjoyable -- I met with everyone on the day and time we were supposed to meet. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. It made the overall interview process feel comfortable and I felt at ease during each of the interviews.

Had the opportunity to meet all levels of the company, from CEO to teammates. Very open about what they were looking for in a teammate and how I could help.

What makes you most happy at work?

Coming in everyday and making an impact with my team. Helping my coworkers achieve a goal they didn't think was possible.

I enjoy working on different project and there is room to learn and grow at this company!

Working with like minded people who are achieving the same out come

Knowing we as a team want whats best for our clients.

Since we've been doing more events over the last 10 months, it's been really nice to get most of the staff in the corporate office which didn't happen a lot before. The comradery and sense of togetherness is really nice to see and feel.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

When I started here a couple of years back, Customers were pretty happy with Lurn, now there is a lot of competition and the students have more choices. We are way understaffed at Lurn in the Support Group, if we had more people the customers would get more attention from us and be much happier.

Maybe take some suggestions from those of us on the front lines. There are certain things that could be made much easier if upper management asked or listened to what we have to say.
