Understanding that people are not robots. Stop taking talented people for granted. Stop expecting people's life to revolve around a job in retail.
Upper management gives very little help and support in growth opportunities, rarely visits counters, and is vast majority outside hires, so someone who's never worked the retail counter and admit they"don't do makeup so they don't know what to help with". Clueless to inner workings that turn cogs.
Sick time is good if you are full time, if they allow you to use it

Employee discount which is really high
Pay is no longer competitive. With inflation pay is now redundant and you can even afford to live on the base pay anymore
Mac in the beginning was something beautiful, it was a family. Dedicated people made the brand what it WAS. In the end they threw those people out on the curb.
Because as a manager every month there comes a extra task for me to do.. work load getting bigger but no extra money

My pay is horrible. Ive worked here over 10 years and still dont have a promotion. I make the same amount of money i made 4 years ago.
I would appreciate more pay for the extra tasks and work load we have to do and I would expect better response time from higher ups
Everyone seeks to work together and we try to help each other out. This isnt everywhere but a good chunk of the people im working with are helpful.

The team pulls together to help one another. Lots of training on new products with MyMacX which helps to sell items. MAC offers gratis so emoloyees can try new products and give feedback

SUPPORT RETAIL STAFF. Ask what they need, then actively work to deliver it in a timely fashion. No one knows better what you need to make a retailer work than the people selling the products.
MAC is owned by ELC, and as such is unfortunately subject to the elc garbage bin. Honestly would love to see them be bought out by a different brand (Coty etc)

Just kindness. I think interviews should be 1on1 without extra people with titles commenting on every little thing because I hire people based off of their personality and drive and by the time they get to my store they're anxious and scared.
