The marketing team as a whole is underpaid compared to industry standards. Marketing Managers responsible for realizing and managing tens of millions of dollars are barely making above $75K in New York City, one of the most expensive cities in the world.
When you make people wait to be promoted on a yearly bases. Why should the employee work hard all year long? If they have to skills to qualify them to the next job title promote them. In the end the company will lose more money when the employee leaves then it would to give them the small raise.
Some of the best things about my team is, the time and effort that we put in to get the job done.
