Executive Bio

Mr. Richard J. Nadeau, also known as Rick, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at MAXIMUS, Inc. since June 23, 2014. Mr. Nadeau served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of SRA International, Inc. and SRA Companies, Inc. from June 1, 2009 to May 23, 2014 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer until May 23, 2014. Mr. Nadeau is responsible for SRA International's financial operations, including all corporate accounting, financial strategy and business planning. He oversees the corporate controllership, treasury and tax functions and be instrumental in SRA's mergers and acquisitions, balance sheet management and capital investment decisions. He has more than 32 years of executive-level experience in the private sector. Prior to SRA, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Sunrise Senior Living Inc. from September 9, 2007 to May 29, 2009. Mr. Nadeau served as a Consultant to Sunrise since July 2007 to assist with the completion of its pending restatement and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance efforts. Mr. Nadeau served as the Chief Financial Officer of The Mills Limited Partnership from June 2006 to May 8, 2007 and as its Executive Vice President of Finance and Accounting from March 2006 to May 8, 2007. Mr. Nadeau served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Colt Defense LLC (alternate name Colt Defense Inc), since May 16, 2005 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Before joining Colt Defense Inc., Mr. Nadeau was an Audit Partner at the accounting firm of KPMG LLP. While at KPMG LLP, Mr. Nadeau was the engagement and Audit Partner for several real estate companies, including two publicly traded REITs and served as an SEC reviewing partner for several large public companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. From 1977 to 2002, he worked for Arthur Andersen LLP, where he served as a National Practice Director and Commercial Audit Partner, serving real estate companies, service-related companies, government contractors and US Airways. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Virginia.
