compensation is based on individual to individual basis and not on one position
The gap between what the top C suite people award themselves and the protection their contracts give their compensation compared to the lack of any protection that the rest of the company has.

No salary increase in over 2 years and no consideration of spot bonuses for the extra time and effort to meet deliverables.
Leadership failures have resulted in a roll back of various elements of compensation benefits (unless you are an executive).
