He started his career at Total Oil Marine, Andersen Consulting and Schlumberger, where he progressed to the position of Global Segment Controller. He has a wealth of bank financing and mergers and acquisitions experience. Mr. Spence earned his Bachelor of Accountancy degree with honors from Stirling University in Scotland and also attended the Columbia Business School.
