Mr. Thomas Mackie, also known as Tom, has been Vice President of Operations at McDermott International Inc. since January 12th 2016. Mr. Mackie served as Vice President of Middle East at McDermott International Inc. since March 2014 until January 12th 2016. Mr. Mackie served as Senior Director of Projects, responsible for the execution of all Middle East and Indian projects. He has more than 40 years experience in the offshore petrochemical industry covering project management, design, construction, installation, hook-up and commissioning and operations in various locations around the world. His management, technical and contractual experience is supported by his ability to motivate personnel within a project team environment. In his previous position as General Manager for Brownfield and Hook-up, he was responsible for the growth of standalone Brownfield projects and supported the Brownfield and hook up scopes of projects. Mr. Mackie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (with honors) from Strathclyde University in UK.
