Mr. C. Timothy White has been an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Meritage Homes Corporation since October 1, 2005. Mr. White serves as an Executive Officer of Maracay Homes LLC and Maracay Homes Arizona I, LLC. He was an Outside Counsel for Meritage since 1991. From 1989 to October 2002, he was an Attorney with the law firm of Tiffany & Bosco, P.A. in Phoenix, Arizona, which provided legal services to Meritage. In October 2002, he joined the law firm of Greenberg Traurig, LLP in Phoenix, Arizona, which provides legal services to Meritage. He has 20-year career as a Real Estate Lawyer specialized in representing homebuilders, as an outside lawyer and acted as General Counsel to several homebuilders. Mr. White served as a Director of Meritage Homes Corporation (alternate name Meritage Corp.) from December 1996 to October 2005. He served as a Director of Monterey Homes from February 1995 to December 1996. He is a Member of the State Bar of Arizona. Mr. White received a Law degree from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1985. He received BS in Accounting from University of Arizona in 1982.
