My manager walks around and does nothing. When he is in his "office" him and the rest of the managers are making fun of employees

Over worked, underpaid. No appreciation whatsoever.
I make 14 an hour and i do more than what i get paid for
When other retailers are offering starting wages above what someone that has been working for this organization now going on 21 months this is very said especially when this company in the last two years had record sales

know what it means to do a job correctly the first time which leads back to improper training and management

We are all consitently against each other
Managers try to keep people away from other people who tend to be friends. I understand this to keep quality of work up to par, but then the employee may find after time there is not much to look forward too, lack of incentive.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
instill proper chain of command with a solid leadership team reduce the number of part time and go more full time employees
The leadership such as the managerial positions. I've seen a lot of managers come and go and have only met a few that I could connect with... The managers that are hired have been subpar on average and lack emotional intelligence and lack interpersonal skills.

Ask better questions, don't just look for only part time people so you can skimp out on benefits

It's been awhile but overall it wasn't bad... They are pretty desperate at getting part time employees and trying to retain employees but don't seem to be able to over time.

Start paying employees decent wages, reward those that have knowledge and put in extra efforts to help customers and organization. Get inventory under control, many common things are out of stock for sometimes weeks at time. Many hate coming to store to find item is not available , yet online it in

As I've mentioned, the leadership is what needs to be improved... Interpersonal skills and more focus on a team approach. The company cannot manage to get accurate planograms and make the work for employees that much more frustrating. The leadership also threatens employees with getting credit cards
