Collaboration is awesome. People are generally kind and straightforward. Lot's of intelligent people.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Benefits. Flex time, PTO, Retirement, Legal Plans, Pet Insurance. Healthcare is good but used to be better.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Fairly transparent (at least they appear to be). They make a good effort to keep everyone informed and seem like they actually pay attention to feedback.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
In my experience people at MITRE have generally been wonderfully inclusive and collaborative. A few pockets of bro culture and intelligent yet condescending individuals but most people are great.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
Focus on unbiased integrity and honesty with our government sponsors seems to be slowly eroding with the shift toward exploring more for-profit activities. We have a stellar reputation for being trusted advisors. Don't lose it.
