I went from never working at a restaurant to being GM of a location to being part of their IT team within 2 years. You can get promotions as fast as you'd like if you put in the effort and communicate with your higher ups. And you can move departments with ease.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Management and service mixed with marketing

No general manager at the store has been hired after a year since the last general manager left. No guidance and leadership has taken place by any administrative staff. The workers at MOD pizza Fremont CA obtain no hospitality skills and neglects its customers.

Theres nothing i can say that ive already brought up with management that will help this situation

Fix management, improve scheduling. Make sure we have enough people staffed especially on our busier nights, and for closes so that way we can actually clean the store

Horrible general manager and AGM who inspire a culture of bullying and intimidation with zero support.

Our gm either leaves early or doesnt come back after saying she will be back. When someone calls out we are down a person never any coverage. Also everyone else can request for a week off and get it everytime i ask for a requested day off im sceduled to work

We're severely understaffed so customers tend to have to wait a lot longer than they do at other food places in our area.
