What is the best part about your compensation package?
401(K) matching, they match my 3% contribution. I have paid vacations that matches my sick time. I was paid when I was out sick with COVID without using my sick hours. I was paid for a whole days work for getting vaccinated, $135.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are good people who care about us and others. They give and allow us to give as well. They truly believe in 2nd chances, hire felons, recovering addicts. Give jobs to those who wouldnt have a chance without them, most stores have a purpose hire, someone with a disability. THEY'RE GOOD PEOPLE
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are hard working and we care about each other. We are there for each other and we want each other to succeed. When someone is sick we know we have someone who will be there for us and not complain or hold it against us. We are each unique and are allowed to be ourselves. We stick up for them!
What did you like most about the interview process?
I met directly with the GM of my store, she connected with me and let me know right then that she liked me and I was hired. It did not last long and I could tell the GM was a real person, not a person in a suit wondering if I was good enough and judging me on my past, only on what I could bring.
