We can anticipate eaxh other's needs since we're all trained to do each other's jobs.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We're severely understaffed so customers tend to have to wait a lot longer than they do at other food places in our area.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I literally got the job as soon as I walked through the door. We're so understaffed that my manager literally can't turn anyone down.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They do their best. Upper management are the ones that need to reconsider their pruorities. My store is losing more people than we hire and we may end up having to close.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are currently being paid an average of $5/hour less than every other fast food joint in our town. Everyone raised their payrates to attract people after COVID and we're still stuck at $10/hour.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
During the rare moments between rushes, it honestly feels like we're all just a bunch of friends goofing off. The atmosphere is amazing and I honestly hate the fact that I might have to look for a higher paying job soon.
