Before I accepted my job here, I was warned that Mount Sinai was one of the worst paying healthcare institutions in New York City. They do not pay employees a living wage for the city, and have not done anything to compensate for the high inflation in recent years.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The vision insurance is pretty good, I got a $200 pair of sunglasses for $30.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leaders of my group are flexible and understanding when it comes to time off and vacation.
What did you like most about the interview process?
My interviewers were very communicative and asked me good questions as well as being responsive to my questions.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Because my team is mostly entry level, we are given lots of opportunities to learn and try new things if we want to. (And sometimes forced to if we don't want to unfortunately.)
