They are caring and actually take time to talk to you.

The culture at Sinai is particularly toxic at the top. There is a cohort of dysfunctional “leaders” who do not communicate or collaborate with their teams, making top-down decisions that only throw money on bandaid-style fixes, rather than base decisions on any discernible analysis

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team needs to get better at working together to get important projects and task accomplished. The disconnect of leadership causes delays in getting things accomplished.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The best part about my compensation package is the medical, dental and vision insurance

Although the comp was low in comparison to health systems of similar size and stature, the benefits package was shocking (esp. in terms of health coverage) with employee contributions further eating away at already low salaries.

My team is great at sharing ideas to get on the same page and work together

Since there is no teamwork at the top, this trickles down into a dog-eat-dog culture that spreads throughout every level of the organizations. At the ground level, staff have been so historically abused, they have little-to-no interest on improving the system they’re in and are just clock-watchers.
