Upper Management cares about bonuses and will sacrafice Employee Benefits in doing so.
Treating thier employees better. Help employees manage HR, Payroll, Controls without using cheap ineffective outsourced companies.
They love themselves and preach onkybthings that get them richer
Communicate with substance, not placating words: "thank you for all that you do"...seriously?! Stop with the favoritism and truly recognize those doing hard work, not just those of the approved gender, race, or orientation.
Holding people accountable. Including your supervision. Just because somebody is a good worker, it shouldn't let supervision look passed their toxic attitudes, bullying, coming in drunk.
Higher salary would make me feel better about my compensation
Vacation and time off has become much less than competition
Salary growth at National Grid punishes loyalty, as people who come in from outside the company start with higher salaries at younger ages than folks who start their careers here.
National Grid compensates people starting at 85% of the market reference point, which is a joke. I'm sure if I gave them 85% effort it wouldn't be appreciated! People with many years experience outside of National Grid are not compensated as well as those that have only internal experience.
I feel i deserve a higher salary
Departments work alone, not as a Company together.
Stop gossiping, stop blaming everything on everybody else. Be decent to people. Stop running good people out of the department.
We are too short handed and it a affects everything there is no balance
I love my co workers very different but unique personalities
Less meetings that are more to the point instead of meetings used to talk about unrelated things.

Political opinions need to disappear and focus more on jobs for the day / safety
National Grid needs to start making changes that benefit their employees first and the rest of the world second.
Bullying. Allowing certain people to get away with stuff. Stop picking certain people pick on. Get management that actually cares abkut fixing issues. Not sweeping them under the rug.
Treat everyone like they are valued
A lot of their training procedures are dated and difficult to follow along with perhaps having smaller new hire groups will be helpful
Process speed can be improved to get new hires in the door faster.
Enough of the bologna HR questions and focus on peoples skills and qualifications. Provide a level playing field for candidates and don't simply interview to meet "regulations" when you already know some has been picked for the job.
The time from phone screen to first day was really long.
Their HR person booked me for the wrong day, so I showed up and no one was waiting for me. Then one of the directors decided to give me 15 mins of his time, upon liking me he called another director who gave me another 15 mins. Got hired for one role, first day into the job they moved be to another
Review from Operations Dept
Need to treat customers better.
Rates are soaring and Comoany tries not to sell their product
The company trains you to one standard, and the each supervisor standard is different from day to day. Creating a toxic work environment.
The only people valued less than employees are customers
The customers attitudes are a reflection of the service they receive unfortunately the customer service is substandard mainly because people are not getting the type of training they need the training is equivalent to YouTube tutorials
Communication
Work life balance, should be better for a utility company.
