National Veterinary Associates Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The Health and Wellness Fund.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Insurance, vacation/holiday times, flexibility on contract benefit negotiation

matching 401k and time off

Having a quality dental plan

401k is really good for matching

It is fair for those who actually want to work for it.

Review from Admin Dept

Employee discount and pay rate

I am inquiring today about it

Support for mental health is a benefit for any veterinary team member.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I use my benefits...great that we have 100% coverage for up to $500 per service.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Most other similar companies pay quite a bit less for the same positions

Review from Customer Support Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Getting stock options would certainly help employees feel a greater sense of ownership of the company and care about it more

Considering the high demand, daily occurrence of at least one accident to clean, as well as nearly never being staffed properly especially with the additional options we have, we should make at least $15 hourly. At a minimum enough that a full 40hr can pay bills.

If they gave me a chance to prove to them that it was a miscommunication, and that they would give me the chance to help the hospital in a way that it needs.

upper management needs to make better effort to comunicate with employees.

Review from Operations Dept

Treated with respect, we are adults

For Veterinarians there is no paid time off. You can take time off but future earning are essentially docked by there pay structure. Disability insurance should be covered and there should be paid medical leave/personal days that are actually PAID not a deduction from future earnings.

Field leaders that are among the highest performers in the nation have seen laystaff, HMs, and DVMs receive significant pay increases out of necessity to keep them on our teams but increases for high performers are small.

Review from Operations Dept

Better annual raises. Increased PTO if they are not going to have separate sick time off.

Review from Customer Support Dept

They get rid of the hardworking employees. They allow the managers and some of the leads to bully, harass, and intimidate employees. Management allows it to happen.

We raised prices for clients and didn't get wage increases, the cost of living keeps going up, we've been slammed since COVID so we're making money, job postings for competitors list higher starting wages for my position, etc

Completely under vslued for the eork and education we provide.

We deserve higher pay rate

making more money maybe the money that we deserve and need to live.

actually give pay raises rather than ignoring them

Lied to about holiday pay- as in, I didn't get it.

Over 20 years of experience, in a management role, and and my financial compensation isn't much more than those with a lot less experience and none of my responsibilities. Practices in the area are offering starting salaries at more than what I am making now - some by 10-12$/hour

We work so hard and extra long during covid and nothing is done. In fact techs got no bonuses this year

Denied bonuses that were handed to other managers in the region in the region thanks to the executive leadership

Thwy underpay, overwork, chew up and apit out their teams, all while calling us family.

I got my 90 day review @ 6 months, and got a flawless review. I have not had a pay increase as discussed and negotiated at my hiring.
