National Veterinary Associates Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

My immediate coworkers are fantastic and dedicated

We are a family. We support each other and help each other out during the rough times.

Co workers. We get along mostly

The staff that continue to encourage, and uplift each other on a daily basis.

i get to make owners happy by sending them home with their pets

we are exposed to a variety of departments and staff

Review from Operations Dept

Saving and improving animals quality of life is amazing.

That we care about each other and are supported by the company

From the reception team, to the vets and techs, everyone has a positive relationship and cares about each other. I remember when one of my coworkers was going through a hard time, we all pooled together money and gift baskets to help her. We are like a family.

Everyone is very supportive of one another

Once in a blue moon we get free pizza.

I enjoy my clients who I have built relationships with over the years. I do appreciate how we treat each pet that walks into our facility as if they were our own pet.

coworkers positive, management is oblivious to a log of things going on

Caring about each other. Direct hospital management promotes a positive work/life balance. Picking up the slack when you need to if someone is having a rough day because you know they'll do the same for you.

The staff. We stay to help each other. Not the corporate

The Drs and staff are wonderful. Management is horrific.

My coworkers, pets and clients.

My coworkers and our team spirit.

Everyone cares about the animals

The clients and most of our veterinarians.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

People need to feel valued and cared for instead of just being a cog in the wheel.

Hire better leaders with training and personel skills

Easier and more accessible methods of reporting unprofessional behavior that doesn't back fire on the victim.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Adoption of certain standards across hospitals where policies and supports are in place to take care of the mental health of team members as well as boundaries for what is considered inappropriate client behavior and how to address them.

Less favoritism. Follow through on enforcing attendance practices and making people responsible for their jobs duties.

Support for more staffing, support for managers. Having assistant managers regardless of the hospital size

Get rid of the management.

this place needs better management

The office manager needs to be replaced or spoken with about the way she is managing

Leadership should revert back to the original vision of the company

Management needs to change. Employees will work together better if compensated for their efforts

Management, work culture, better team work

Allowing us to take our earned vacation without restrictions. The manager being accountable for her lack of involvement

Stop micromanaging and leadership gossiping

Review from Admin Dept

Better management and leadership teams. Better examples from management of work ethics and patient care.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Better management hire somebody who knows what they are doing and can effectively handle staff concerns and manage them appropriately
