What makes you most happy at work?

Helping patients and clients with positive outcomes

The pack is great, we have great customers and dogs. the overall entire environment is fantastic. We all care about each other and the dogs.

Clients and pets, working together

The team of coworkers that are dependable

My coworkers are the only thing keeping me at my job.

Spending time with the animals and feeling as though i am making a difference in their lives.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I know that I am making a postive impact on the practice by helping the doctors and techs with the lab work

Review from Operations Dept

Making my team happy and seeing animals get better.

Taking care of pets and their people.

The dogs we have come in regularly

Working with my team and seeing patients

Review from Customer Support Dept

At work there are a BUNCH of things that make me happy. I LOVE learning and practicing new skills, the constant hussle and bustle of the day makes time fly by, I love meeting and petting new patients, I love feeling confident and successful after the end of a shift well done.

Taking care of my patients

Seeing my 2 other fellow coworkers that are constantly trying to work at all times and help each other when needed.

I know my job. If i need help its always there. Im not stressed

I'm most happy when I get off

Knowing I'm making a difference/positive impact in people and pets lives.

Staff and trying to help sick patients

my team, we are very supportive of each other so we don't burn out.

Just doing my job. I love what I do.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Communication and culture are the biggest thing that need to be addressed

communication, pto, keeping cleaning supplies in stock, actually listening to employees, not making employees put clients before their safety

Lack of management, structure, protocol

Not to fire staff when they are understaffed.

Lack of training of management. Techs and veterinarians are thrown into management positions without training. NVA has an opportunity to create training to support management and hospital staff but it does not seem to be a priority

There needs to be direct oversight by an impartial HR representative to discern what repercussions should be taken to ensure that everyone knows and remains in their place.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Upper corporate management needs to take heart about what the people with " boots on the ground" are saying

Doctors should be given more say in how they run their daily operations. They are forced to use unqualified employees to perform tasks that only skilled technicians should be allowed to perform. I think that allowing " work friends" power they do not deserve to have is a recipe for disaster.

Its the actual workers that make a positive impact on the clients, not the company.

the management treats staff badly jnfront of costumers

Overworked, underpaid. Again, we are tired of management sharing how well our financials are each quarter but then denying us of a raise. We don't even get raises to match inflation. Also, our accrued PTO hours were withheld from us because we were short staffed.

Management needs to work on interaction and scheduling skills

We are overworked and underpaid.

Leadership taking credit for ideas that weren’t there?

Review from Admin Dept

Poor management, no support, this can be improved by more hand on training and hiring a medical director.

Review from Customer Success Dept

All the positive things that were given as incentives as pet owners and employees have been taken away. How do you employ a pet owner at an animal hospital and day camp and require them to work 10-12 days and pay them less than national average then remove their discount and not allow their pets

Review from Admin Dept

Everybody treats each other poorly due to stress caused by management. The entire practice needs new staff and management.

Review from Operations Dept

A bit too much is expected when it is busy. There needs to be more staff for these times.
