What does the leadership team need to get better at?

The truth may hurt, but it hurts a lot less than being lied to and and manipulated. Have some respect for your employees and trust them to take bad news like the adult professionals they are, not the unsuspecting sacrificial lambs you turn them into.

HR are useless fools and don’t really care about the employee

Leaders need to step up for their direct reports, know when to say no to upper management, be more transparent and have accountability
