There was huge gap between my expectation and the reality. The reason, mostly, I believe the company is going through lots of changes. I feel there's a huge distance between the top and the bottom, at least I don't feel the HQ is trying to close the distance with locals and fields

They were excited to see me, and showed that they care about me

Be consistent in their direction. Focus more on advancing the cause, and talk less about competitors.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I want it my job to be more engaging and proactive, but it has restrictions currently
