Willing to listen to every employee
My manager started from the same level I did and is very knowledgeable and understanding of the industries workflow and he fights for the recognition I deserve whenever he has the chance to, however often it may fall on deaf ears.
They trust me and my work and let me lead my team
Local Leadership is good, corporate leadership is out of touch with what it takes to Win. They do not allow for local control or empowerment. The culture at our station is quickly changing as talented people leave and are replaced by inexperienced new hires.
Immediate 401k match which is uncommon
Healthcare that offers vision and dental.
The commission rates are good
the benefits we get are great, particularly healthcare
Review from Operations Dept
The health insurance is the best part of the benefits. I've never had an issue getting in where I need to.
Aome of my colleagues are great and theyre stuck too.
The majority of us work together
Great people on the teams but all fully aware that they’re being overwork
They are good at what they do and what they know. They're willing to impart their knowledge on others, although some more than others.
My team is a varied group of competent individuals with differing backgrounds which uses their strengths to make up of some of others weaknesses. We work well together and we're able to back each other up with however much effort we can provide.
The company is open and active regarding diversity
Everyone working to a common goal.
Coworkers are intelligent, kind, and ready to learn.
The non-management staff mostly cares about each other.
Coworkers are able to stay positive despite having little support from immediate supervisor.
It was on my own time, as well as on video so I could stay at home.
Review from Operations Dept
Opportunity to speak with several people
They were thorough and asked actual interview questions
They say all the right things. They make yoi believe like you can grow within the company and can move to bigger cities that are within the company. All of it is a lie. Management will sandbag you because theyre bitter you want to leave.
It was very informal but also a test to see how much I knew.
Working my favorite position in production: camera!
Review from Operations Dept
The ability to focus on doing a good job
Customers do not understand the company operates stations and hubs
Working with the community to tell their stories is the most enjoyable part of my job.
Being at work anymore is no longer enjoyable.
