Compensation does not account for tenureship/experience. When increases come, they almost set everyone on the same level regardless of experience. The Increase in quick promotions on lower level Vs higher level positions is a major contributor to that. Education credit/benefits should be available.

I love working at Nextiva but my position here requires a lot of work & a lot of hours. I came in at a lower salary (because it's a great company) and unfortunately, they haven't made it a priority to increase my pay to fair market value, while bringing in others at that rate with increased budget.

It is not obvious how to follow up or improve on specific skills connected to my position, and I'm expected to learn additional tech skills on my own. So, I'm not in a position to ask for a better wage. I'd like to be an "XBert" technician, but that course was shelved.

It's not that anything is wrong, to be honest the only reason anyone works is to remain financially independent, so I come to work to continue that. It's just a part of life, not necessarily something to look forward to.
