  • It greatly depends on your team - Digital team once went on a small boat in downtown Manhattan for couple hours in the summer. The only all-inclusive "outing" is that Nielsen dedicates one day in June to volunteer with their coworkers (employees can choose on an internal site) every year.

  • The Buy organization is ineffective; years of monopoly / easy times has led to complacency and incompetence. Majority of Product Leadership is useless. The Connected System is the most important part of the Buy organization. It has been underway for two years; we hear how well everything is progressing but at $50m per year, and with the huge tech leadership turnover, is that believable?
