What do you like best about the leadership team?

The GM doesn’t care at all. Never works at the store. Expects everything to stay in tack and every night should be perfect. Somtimes we don’t get out until midnight. We should have 5 people closing and only ever have 3 or 4. Constant calls for help. Doctors notes are demanded if we don’t feel

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We as team members are demanded to have doctor notes or coverage. We have maybe 13 people on our staff list. And non of them can ever come in or help because we “can’t afford overtime” but it’s given to all the managers. The GM wonders why she can’t keep staff. It’s because she’s self

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Maybe actually train everyone correct and we’d be able to keep people. My first year was great. But because we have to do everything ourselves it’s a struggle and I don’t feel heard or even appreciated for everything I do. I go in and help more than she does. She sits at the computer and ignor

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Change the hours. Higher pay, better GM, anything to help everyone’s mental health because no one seems to care if we need a day off. We feel obligated to go in because if we don’t find coverage which should be the GMs job we get a write up and petty treatment. Who wants to go get a doctor n

What are some of the best things about your team?

The people who work everyday, and keep the store going is what makes it worth it to even go to work. We all go so the GM doesn’t constantly yells and dismisses us. She acts like she knows what she’s doing but is never even at the store. And when she is, she yells at us if we have a quest
