Improved diversity, but they've made a commitment to hiring remote staff to achieve that, which is what it takes when you're based in Portland.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Retirement. The org puts 15% of your salary into your 403b (non-profit version of 401K) every year even if you don't put anything in. And it vests in only three years.
