Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

We work on products that make a difference, but the company financials don't seem at all stable and the transparency from leadership seems like it isn't there. I feel like I could get let go at any moment.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone is easy to work with and talk to.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Everyone is willing and eager to keep building the culture.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Was denied a deserved promotion and after getting re-hired, have now been over a year without a raise.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone is willing to help out which helps everyone continue to pay it forward and continually strengthens us as a team.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

I got denied a promotion with absolutely no reasoning. The transparency from leadership is still lacking. I also have been given little to no direction for my career path.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Product dithers way too much on what we should be working on, so it's hard to be excited about reworking projects we've already put a lot of time into.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They seem to care about the employees and culture a lot as well as they make it clear the direction we're going as a company and make it easy to believe in.

What makes you most happy at work?

Accomplishing tasks and helping others. Whenever we get to work as a team to solve a problem or push a release that satisfies the customers/clients, it's a huge boost of morale and enjoyment.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The Flexible PTO is a bit daunting at first, but a really fantastic perk otherwise. Paired with management that actively doesn't want us to burn out, I feel comfortable requesting as long of a vacation as I need.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We're not forced to drink the kool-aid, which I've experienced with my previous company. The culture is positive and engaging, though if you're not interested, you can comfortably sit out. I can't imagine anyone would want to sit out, though!
